City tour "Old Lübbeck villas"

After the town wall was demolished at the end of the first third of the 19th century, the ramparts were leveled and turned into promenades and the town moat was abandoned and filled in, there was a significant expansion of built-up areas in Lübbecke. The former town boundaries initially developed into industrial sites and subsequently into the preferred residential areas of Lübbecke's upper and middle classes. The city tour "Old Lübbecke villas" shows some examples of this development.

The tour starts at 3 pm at the Gänsemarkt parking lot and lasts around two hours.
