Gerhard Pollheide has opened a new gallery for art and literature in the heart of Lübbecke.
The exhibition in his Galeria Arte shows pictures and books from the rich oeuvre of the writer and artist. His "Sprechbilder" combine his art with literature.
Visitors are invited to stroll between his works of art or browse through his books in the seating areas. On request, the author also reads spontaneously from his texts to his guests - from poetry, short texts or longer stories that he has written on a variety of topics. He is happy to invite people over for a coffee and get into conversation with them.
"Art for everyone" is what Gerhard Pollheide offers, which should be accessible and affordable for everyone, regardless of income or social status. His "small art" stands for art in small formats at small prices. It is intended to sharpen the eye for the small, the easily overlooked in a world flooded with stimuli and can also find a place on any wall, no matter how small.
The Galeria Arte is a place for encounters and exchanges about art and literature, for lingering, reflecting or chatting.
