Annual concert of the band of the Minden Volunteer Fire Brigade

A new tradition... The instruments are tuned, the sheet music is ready, the first bars are waiting to be played and an invigorating, joyful excitement prevails. The musicians of the Minden Volunteer Fire Brigade's marching band invite you on a comprehensive musical journey with the 2025 annual concert.
This journey is intended to show the audience the range of musical interests of a marching band and the beauty of the diverse genres: On the one hand, concert marches and polkas, which are considered traditional and should not be missing from a marching band performance, will be played. On the other hand, visitors will also be whisked away to the worlds of musicals and operettas and surprised by modern pieces by younger composers. Because the music should reach everyone and catch everyone's ear.

The marching band is now a well-known musical representative in Minden and has found a permanent place in the annual calendar of events in the city of Minden: From the first and the last harbor concert at the lock pavilion to the taps at the Mindener Freischießen.
