In recent years, the Kiel-based gelato manufacturer Giovanni L. has experienced a real upswing. The brisk demand for GELATO DE LUXE has given the company a diversified portfolio of locations, both nationally and internationally. Within a short space of time, Giovanni L. ice cream parlours were opened in Europe, Arab countries and Asia. In addition to its own flagship stores, the Giovanni L. family now includes over five hundred sales outlets, from small to large. Due to increasing demand and high quality standards, production was centralised in 2011. The result is one of the most modern EU-certified factories in northern Germany.
