Architecture and history
The Galerieholländer was built in 1878. Its striking feature is its plastered stone octagonal gallery on a two-storey, octagonal substructure. The windy wings, the gallery and the traditional Stert make this mill, which can be seen from afar, a popular subject for photographs. With its high, three-storey substructure and vertical walls, the mill has an impressive appearance. In addition, the strongly conical brick building on an octagonal floor plan with sail wings and Stert is a real eye-catcher.
Wedding mill - The mill as a registry office
The rustic wedding room is located on the second floor of the windmill. Far from the usual flair of an administrative building, you can say "I do" in this dignified atmosphere. The combination of rustic charm and historical ambience creates an unforgettable backdrop for the most beautiful day of a couple's life.
After the ceremony, there is the opportunity to toast the marriage with a glass of sparkling wine with relatives and friends in the rustic ambience of the second floor. These unforgettable moments in the wedding mill make the day special for many couples. The mill not only offers a unique location for the ceremony, but also the opportunity to continue the celebration in a family circle and enjoy the unique atmosphere.
