Weserpromenade Wehrden

Park/gardens
Places by the water exert a very special attraction. The Weser promenade in the Wehrden district of Beverungen is one such place.
Here, the concept of the Weser riverbank design in Beverungen was taken up and implemented in the area from the parking lot to the ferry dock. One focus was on the pathways, which were renewed and made more barrier-free. In addition, new benches, seating groups, garbage cans and suitable lighting were added to the furniture. The sun loungers invite you to take a break, bicycles can be safely parked on the bike racks and the information pillar, together with the hiking boards, provides helpful tips for guests and locals. As a result, the entire promenade looks more modern and appealing and has a higher quality of stay. Some hedges and grasses as well as a flowering meadow visually enhance the area. The access route to the passenger ferry was also converted to make it barrier-free and the ferrymen will benefit from a mobile house that offers them shelter in all weathers.
