The canoe launch is located right next to the Wehrden passenger ferry (April–October) and the popular Weser Bike Path. A restaurant, restroom facilities (April–Oct.), and free parking are also available. Canoes can be rented from local rental companies along the Weser and Diemel rivers as needed.

- The pier can be reached via Weredunstraße. Bus line R 22 (Bad Karlshafen–Höxter) stops at the church, which is about 450 meters away on foot.
