Dairy products can be purchased directly at the farm shop. Fresh raw milk is also available at the milk house.
The way the cows are raised is also part of the farm’s concept. The animals live in a light-filled, open-air barn where they can move about freely. Soft straw bedding serves as their resting area. During the warmer months, the cows have daily access to pasture for about 180 days.
Their winter feed includes homegrown, non-GMO feed and peas as a source of protein. The farm’s approximately 30 cows have names and are cared for individually. They are a crossbreed of three breeds and therefore vary in color and appearance. The male calves also remain on the farm and are raised there to become bulls.
