The baroque moated castle of Vinsebeck is always worth a detour. It stands on a square island surrounded by a 17-metre-wide, water-filled moat. The interior of the Italian Room, the Driburg Room, the Green Room, the Moor Room and the Chinese Room has been largely preserved. The stucco work and the linen wallpaper painted all over the rooms are well worth seeing. A viewing appointment can be arranged if you are interested.
