The historical memory of the town of Petershagen has been given a face since the beginning of 2017.
The former primary school building in Neuenknick provides an insight into the eventful history of the town of Petershagen and its inhabitants.

The focus of the collection is on documents from the former offices of Windheim zu Lahde, Petershagen and Schlüsselburg. The documents date back to the beginning of the 19th century and end around the time of the territorial reform in 1973, when the town of Petershagen was created in its current form and size.

If you would like to browse in advance to see if there are any documents of interest to you in the municipal archive, you can view the inventories of the offices of Petershagen, Schlüsselburg and Windheim zu Lahde online.
