This route promises an adventure through picturesque landscapes along the Weser, dreamy villages and historical sites that bring the era of herring catchers in our region to life.
Experience nature, observe our majestic storks or immerse yourself in the fascinating world of our museums. An absolute must along the route is the Herring Catcher Museum in Heimsen, where maritime tradition comes to life. You will also find informative panels at maritime monuments along the way, offering you exciting insights into the history and traditions of herring fishing.
