Asparagus has been grown here since the 1980s; today, the Sprenger family cultivates about five hectares of farmland. The fields are located right next to the farm, so the asparagus travels only a short distance to the farm stand after harvest.
In addition to white and green asparagus, the farm store on Heifeldweg also offers potatoes, ham, sauces, and wine. Upon request, freshly purchased asparagus can be peeled right there on the spot. During asparagus season, the farm store is open daily.
Even outside of asparagus season, the farm has something to offer: the soft-serve ice cream stand is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
