This playground is located in the Haxtergrund recreational area. A large climbing tower with a slide, a sandbox, and large open spaces at the edge of the forest invite children up to age 14 to play. There are two restaurants nearby.

By car:
Take the A 33 highway to the “Pad.-Zentrum” exit, then take the B 64 toward Bad Driburg until the “Universität” exit. On Warburger Straße (B 68), head toward Lichtenau/Warburg, then turn right toward “Waldpark Haxtergrund.”
By public transportation:
City bus line 46 (PaderSprinter) runs from the main train station through downtown to the “Vereinshaus” stop in Haxtergrund. The bus runs according to the schedule, but you must register your trip at least one hour before departure by phone at 05251 6997197 (Mon.–Fri., 8 a.m.–5 p.m.); groups of more than eight people must book at least 24 hours in advance (call the hotline).
