Would you like to experience what it was like to go to school over 150 years ago? Then the museum school is the right place for you, as the old village school from 1847 is lovingly furnished with numerous original utensils and school utensils from Prussian times. School and children's groups as well as interested adults can take part in a lesson here by appointment, as was typical of Prussian village schools at the time. The doors are also open for spontaneous visits on the first Sunday of every month from March to October. Coffee and cake are then provided for guests.

The municipal road "Alter Kirchweg" has been classified as a play street from the junction with "Schweichelner Straße" to "Im Sieke". Separate parking areas have not been marked. This means that parking is generally permitted.
In view of the fact that this route is also used by the BVO bus service, maneuvering problems arise for the articulated bus drivers when vehicles are parked there. In the past, this has unfortunately already led to the event having to be disrupted by local authority staff in order to remove the vehicles.
To avoid this, it would be kind of you to inform your company about this problem. In addition, it would be an advantage if only one side of the municipal road "Alter Kirchweg" were used for parking and if the road constrictions (flower beds) were kept clear so that buses can pass through this area unhindered. Outside of school hours, the parking spaces at the elementary school can be used at any time.
