The dock is located right on the popular Weser Bike Path and is only about 400 meters from downtown. Various nearby restaurants and cafes invite you to stop for a bite to eat. The city’s tourist information office is located in the Service Center (Weserstr. 16) and offers a public restroom. Canoes can be rented from local rental companies on the Weser and Diemel rivers as needed.

- Vessels may approach the canoe dock for loading and unloading. Please be considerate of pedestrians and cyclists using the Weser Bike Path. A free parking lot is within walking distance (about 200 meters), and the bus station (ZOB) is about 300 meters away.
