The club is run on a voluntary basis, which means that all events, from preparation to implementation, are done "on the side". In 2013 and 2018, the Jazz Club won the "Applaus" venue program award. Thanks to intensive public relations work and a jazz program that is second to none, the Jazz Club reaches visitors from all over northwest Germany and sometimes even from neighbouring countries.
