The club is run on a voluntary basis, which means that all events, from preparation to realisation, are carried out "on the side". In 2013 and 2018, the Jazz Club was awarded the "Applaus" venue programme prize.
Thanks to intensive public relations work and a jazz programme that is second to none, the Jazz Club reaches visitors from all over north-west Germany and sometimes even from neighbouring countries.
