Home Deluxe is a company based in East Westphalia. Our focus is on the online sale of home and garden products.

Would you like to see the quality and variety of our products for yourself and get advice from our sales team? You can find our showroom in Alswede, Bad Holzhausen and Minden. In addition, we have had a shop-in-shop store at our partner Porta Möbel in Hanover- Altwarmbüchen and in Aachen since the end of December 2021.

Our history

The company Home Deluxe was founded in 2009 with the idea of the managing director to make Deluxe products accessible to everyone. The first workplace was the desk in his parents' house and the original team consisted of 5 people from his closest circle of family and friends. The idea turned into a vision, which we continue to pursue in the further development of our company.

In the meantime, Home Deluxe has seen continuous growth in all areas: a handful of employees have grown into a medium-sized company with an annual turnover of around €80 million. Currently, more than 150 motivated and professional employees work at six locations, spread over almost 100,000 m² of company premises.

Our vision

The vision that started it all: "Making Deluxe products accessible to everyone".
From this vision, further goals have developed that we are actively pursuing:
Home Deluxe has set itself the task of accompanying our customers from the purchase consultation to the delivery of the product. We offer a seamless "all-round service" from telephone and personal advice through to delivery.
We offer regional deliveries with our own fleet of vehicles. This is constantly being expanded.

In order to always be able to offer our customers the right product, we expand our product range every year. All of our colleagues have played their part in making us an established and well-known brand in the home & garden sector as an online supplier. The vision behind this is to steadily increase awareness throughout Europe and to firmly establish the Home Deluxe brand in other areas relating to home and garden.

We currently employ more than 150 people in five branches, which are always upgraded to the latest technical standards, the best work safety and the greatest working comfort.

Our vision here is to be an excellent employer and to create a pleasant working atmosphere in which it is fun to work. Despite rapid growth, the aim is always to maintain a familiar and lively working environment with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths.

Another vision of the company is to reach "30 by 2030". Alexander Thoss wants to open 30 stores in German cities by 2030 - starting with the nearby town of Minden. The aim is to make our products accessible to our customers. In addition, the aim here is to revitalize the pedestrian zones in city centres and give them more charm with products that are not yet familiar there. This creates even more trust in us as a brand and speaks for Home Deluxe quality.

Our partners

Both our product range and sales channels are constantly being expanded. We work with well-known retail giants and strengthen our brand with good retail alliances. Our partners include Aldi, Otto, Hagebau, Netto, Real, Tchibo, Obi, Edeka, Amazon and Ebay.

Our products are also in high demand in other European countries, where we have strong partners such as Hofer and Aldi UK with whom we work successfully.

Regional solidarity

Social responsibility is a matter close to our hearts at Home Deluxe!

We know what we owe to our location and therefore want to give something back through various measures, such as supporting animal shelters, regional sports clubs and schools!

Our aim is always to work with regional companies. We are proud to count a number of local companies as our partners. We work with companies such as Winkelmann and Jung-Kurier from Lübbecke, as well as m&s packaging from Bünde and Strenge Verpackungen from Gütersloh.

We also rely on Meyer-Jumbo, a strong partner from Porta Westfalica, in the field of freight forwarding.

Because we offer multilingual customer service, we attach great importance to interculturality and diversity and find the right place for everyone in the company.

As a regionally connected company, we think and act long-term and pay attention to a corporate culture that is geared towards people.
