Hermanneum

Vantage point/Observation tower

At the Hermanneum, visitors can explore the Hermann monument interactively and playfully and deepen their existing knowledge. The Hermanneum focuses on interaction and sensory experience.
For example, there is an entertaining quiz that challenges visitors to discover the real Hermann.
Children can go on a journey of discovery with a miniature version of the Hermann sword. The "Hermann Defender" multi-touchtable is a game for the whole family: together, the aim is to protect the Hermann monument from various environmental influences.
In the process, important questions are answered: Why was the Hermann monument built? Who was its builder? And how did it become the landmark of Lippe?
Another highlight is the wide-screen cinema. There, Hermann invites you to follow his story step by step through the decades together with him.
