The name “Upsprunge” comes from the springs: the water “springs up” and rises to the surface. Just a few meters downstream from the confluence, the water’s force powered a mill. The old millwheel has been preserved to this day.
A footbath invites visitors to cool their feet in the refreshing spring water. Information signs provide insights into the unique features of the Heder springs.
