In the middle of the village, to the west of Hederbornstraße, lies the headwaters of the River Heder.
The spring area has an entrance from the island or at the Kürpick farmstead. In a small area, 20 springs emerge here, some of them impressively under houses and farms. The springs spring up, gush powerfully out of the ground and merge into a green-blue stream with a considerable flow of water.
After just a few meters, the springs drive a mill. The old wheel has been preserved.

A water treading pool offers tired legs a refreshing cool-down. All of this can be viewed and enjoyed during a visit to the idyllic area, where visitors can find complete peace and relaxation away from the traffic in an area of water and nature, which was last redesigned in 2006/07. Guided tours are possible by arrangement
