Freibad Borgholzhausen

Swimming pool
The Pium outdoor pool is certainly not the largest in the area, but it is by far the most family-friendly and, above all, the cheapest. An annual pass for an adult costs 12.00 euros and 6.00 euros for children; a day pass for an adult costs 1.20 euros and 0.60 euros for children. These unrivaled low prices also attract many visitors from outside the region.

In the early and late season, the outdoor pool is open Monday to Friday from 13:00-19:00 and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11:00-19:00. During the summer vacations, swimming is possible daily from 11.00-20.00 hrs. In bad weather, the opening times are adapted to the weather conditions. The water in the 27 x 18 meter pool with a total volume of 650,000 liters has a pleasant temperature of around 23 degrees.

The pool offers swimming courses such as the seahorse course. A kiosk provides visitors with ice cream, sweets and drinks, as well as hot snacks on request.
