Evangelische Kreuzkirche (1866) in Beverungen

Church
Built in 1866 by the master builder Heinrich Henke from Lauenförde, the church's most striking feature is the brightness of the interior, which lends it an extraordinary simplicity and clarity.
The large choir window, which depicts the Trinity of God, and the window above the sacristy, which shows a fishing net, are dominant.

The hanging cross - the corpus is made of Swiss stone pine (wood of the Swiss stone pine, which can live for up to 1000 years) and is around 110 cm tall - originally stood on the altar.
