The village square is located on Sennelagerstraße near the Sande elementary school, multi-purpose hall and sports hall. It borders the Lippesee lake and mainly consists of a large lawn area, but also offers parking for cars. The village square has several benches, a small playground, a rest area and a disabled toilet facility.
An information board for the "WasserRoute Paderborn/Delbrück" marks the start and end of the 18-kilometre circular route, which is easy to cycle.

Take the A 33 freeway to the Pad-Schloß Neuhaus exit; then head towards Delbrück or Rheda-Wiedenbrück. At the exit to Sande, at the level of the Lippesee, turn right into Sennelagerstraße.
