DaunTown is a creative nucleus in the disused down feather factory in the Kleekamp district of Borgholzhausen. Since 2012, the almost 2,100 m² complex has developed into a lively studio ensemble in which international artists work, live and present together in studios, workshops and exhibition spaces
🎨 Artistic offers and projects
Ateliers & Residency: Several artists have individual workspaces. A studio grant is awarded once a year, including use of the canteen and workshop as well as accommodation for guest artists ateliergemeinschaft.com.
Avantgarten - Skulpturengarten: On around 10.000 m², numerous sculptures and temporary installations were created in the outdoor area as part of international symposia dauntown.eu.
Networking & Events: DaunTown is part of global art networks, organizes symposia, exhibitions ("Art & Soup" is a well-known format), studio tours as well as film and discussion evenings heimatjahrbuch-vulkaneifel.de+5ateliergemeinschaft.com+5dauntown.eu+5.
