Brunnen auf dem Marktplatz in Brakel

Monument
The bronze figures depict events from Brakel's world of fairy tales and legends.
The fountain with its bronze figures on the market square was created in 1988 by the artist Hubert Löneke (Aachen) from the village of Beller in Brakel. The two groups of figures on the fountain surround depict events from Brakel's world of fairy tales and legends: "Dat Mäken von Brakel" by the Brothers Grimm and "De Fruggensteye in Brokel" from the book "Niu lustert mol!" by Richard Knoche (1958).
