Bio-Hof Klanhorst

At the Klanhorst Farm, people with and without disabilities work together: In total, a team of nearly 50 people is involved in farming. 

The farm’s own store offers a variety of organic foods produced on the farm. These include seasonal vegetables and salads, potatoes, and eggs from the farm’s own chickens. Vegetables are grown both in open fields and in greenhouses. The selection is rounded out by other foods such as fruit, apples, and honey.

In addition to the farm store, the farm offers an organic subscription service featuring various fruit and vegetable boxes. Customers can choose between boxes containing only vegetables or only fruit, as well as combined assortments. Deliveries are made weekly, every two weeks, or as needed in the greater Minden area. In addition, the farm operates a potato peeling facility where its own organic potatoes are processed for institutional kitchens and the food service industry.
