Bierssenhof Mountain Cheese Farm

At the Bierssenhof in Altenbeken, you can find organic products straight from the farm. The farm’s own cheese dairy produces various types of cheese, cream cheese, and other dairy products, along with fresh organic eggs from the mobile chicken coop. Butter, yogurt, and—depending on the season—buttermilk are also available.

In the farm store, you can take your time exploring the selection and supplement it with produce from the farm’s own fields. If you’d like to shop outside of the farm store’s hours, there’s a 24-hour vending kiosk right next door stocked with farm products.

Especially exciting for those interested: A livestream lets you take a peek inside the mobile chicken coop and watch how the chickens live on the farm.
