The city of Gütersloh has created a new leisure area for young people in the Dalke green corridor near Westring below the new pedestrian bridge.
The area, which covers more than 5,300 square meters, now invites young people to let off steam, inline skate and be creative. The first sprayers have already let off steam on the graffiti wall - which is exactly what it is designed for. The 120-metre-long pump track is the first of its kind in Gütersloh. The hilly asphalt course with its steep bends can be ridden on bicycles, inline skates and scooters, for example. In addition to the opportunities for sporting activities, there is a semi-open shelter in the form of an overseas container, table tennis tables and a smartbench where up to four people can charge their smartphones at the same time - two via a USB port with their charging cable and two wirelessly via an inductive charging surface.
