Relaxed and with little traffic - enjoy and experience the variety of the route in the city, in the countryside and along the Weser

Starting at the Minderwald bathing lake, the route first heads south towards the canal, with the cycle network from Hille running parallel to the canal through the villages and fields to Minden. A detour from Hille-Ort, starting from junction 71 via junctions 72 and 73 to the Großer Torfmoor is definitely recommended. It is also worth planning a trip to Minden's city center from the waterway junction on the Weser, following KP 25 to KP 30.
The route continues north on the Weser cycle path to Petershagen, from where it continues through the fields. The Meßlinger windmill offers a stopover worth seeing before the route continues along the old district railway line. The main advantage of this route is that there is generally little traffic!
Eryk's tip off the route is to visit the Biological Station and the café in Nordholz. The Biological Station offers great guided tours and information about our local nature for young and old alike.
