The hiking trail leads over the rooftops of Herford to the Sender, Herford's "local mountain".

Along forest edges with beautiful views, the path descends more and more into the valley. The Uhlenbachtal nature reserve with its green meadows and old forests lies between the higher-lying fields, which you then have to climb again to complete the loop. Centuries of land use, various buildings with a long history and special animal and plant species characterize the hilly landscape.
