Like no other route, the hike around the Böckel estate combines nature experiences with culture, even with (high) literature.

Böckel is particularly famous because the German poet Rainer Maria Rilke was a guest at the old estate many years ago. The history of centuries of land use can be easily traced along the entire route and can be easily recognized by many features.
