At Horn-Bad Meinberg Youth Hostel, versatility is the name of the game. After all, you will find our hostel in the middle of untouched nature and surrounded by meadows and forests. Start excursions into the countryside from here, experience fascinating birds of prey at the Berlebeck Eagle Sanctuary, discover places steeped in history such as the famous Hermann Monument or visit the legendary Externsteine, which are just a stroll away.

A hostel for young and old - from school trips to family vacations
School classes love our hostel because it offers lots of opportunities - from games and sports to disco evenings and exciting excursions. For example, pupils can follow in Ötzi's footsteps and try out the nature-loving life of the old hunters and gatherers for themselves or experience an exciting Teuto week. Parents and children spend a relaxed family vacation in nature. There is a playground for the little ones right on the grounds of our youth hostel - as well as a sunbathing lawn, a soccer pitch and a volleyball court. Perfect for vacation camps too!

Sounds good for music groups, choirs and conference guests
In the midst of untouched nature and surrounded by meadows and forests, music groups and choirs can rehearse with us undisturbed. During the breaks, you can take advantage of the many excursion possibilities in the nature reserve right on our doorstep. Because we are such a good place to make music, our youth hostel has been certified as a "Guesthouse for Choirs" by the North Rhine-Westphalia Choir Association. And we are also well prepared for conference guests with our eight conference rooms and modern equipment.
