Young Hearts: Mittwochskino in Zusammenarbeit mit Partnerschaft für Demokratie SHS

Synopsis: Fourteen-year-old Elias (Lou Goossens) meets his new neighbor Alexander (Marius De Saeger)—a boy his own age who’s just moved in from Brussels—in the middle of the school year. The two get along very well from the start, but then Alexander tells Elias that he’s into boys. Elias is overwhelmed by this revelation and tries to come to terms with his emotions—especially since he’s developing feelings of his own that he doesn’t quite understand. Fearing rejection, he gets caught up in a web of lies and suddenly finds himself completely alone. But then Elias’s grandfather tells him a story that gives Elias the courage to fight for his feelings for Alexander. (Source: filmstarts.de)
