Luther's posting of his theses at the castle church in Wittenberg in 1517 is regarded as the starting signal for the Reformation in Germany. Herford was one of the first towns to join the movement. The town's churches were stormed and either closed or rededicated as Protestant places of worship. The tour takes you to the important stages of this development.

Registration is not required.

The meeting point is at the Fürstenaudenkmal (Fürstenauplatz).

If possible, please pay the guide directly on site.
