Garden exhibition at the Sundern pottery: Art, nature and permaculture in harmony
The extensive grounds of the old farm in Stemwede-Sundern have been revitalized and designed by freelance artists Kathinka Luckmann and Gerd Lammers since 2014. Gradually, a larger work of art is being created that blends harmoniously into the landscape. The garden could best be described as a permaculture garden: in addition to numerous insect-friendly flowering areas, herbaceous beds, a fruit meadow with old varieties and a cottage garden with vegetables, herbs, flowers and berries, there are also many old domestic animal breeds to be seen. Numerous sculptures and ceramic objects can be found throughout the grounds, which blend in naturally with the surroundings. Since 2020, two tiny houses, a tepee and a large outdoor kitchen have also been available for vacation guests in this small natural paradise. The ceramics exhibition in the spacious Deelen will be open.
  • March 8 + 9 | Deelen ceramics exhibition. Coffee and cake.
  • June 14 + 15 | On the Day of Gardens & Parks, the Landfrauen Sundern support us with a coffee and cake table.
  • August 23 + 24 | Today we serve coffee and cake. The Deelen exhibition is open.
*In sunny weather in summer, we move the ceramics exhibition to the garden.
