Lübbecke serves up!

On Friday, April 11, a variety of food trucks will be rolling onto Lübbeck's market square, inviting visitors to taste and enjoy. To kick things off, the stalls will be open from 5 pm to 10 pm. On Saturday, snacking and feasting is the order of the day from 12 noon to 10 pm. For the finale on Sunday, the "foodies" will be cooking fresh in front of the guests from 12 noon to 7 pm. Everyone decides for themselves what goes on their plate: International specialties, creative crossover cuisine, sweet temptations for those with a sweet tooth, a trip to meat heaven or would you prefer organic, regional and veggie? Here, everyone can find their new favorite dish.

In addition, there is freshly tapped local beer, selected wines and coffee specialties accompanied by background music. On the market square, marquee seating and bar tables will provide plenty of opportunities for relaxed consumption of the wide variety of dishes.

Visitors can look forward to lots of great spring offers in the stores in Lübbeck city center on Saturday and on Sunday when the shops are open for business. The pedestrian zone will also turn into a small gourmet mile, offering everything from classic bratwurst and fish specialties to fried mushrooms and sweet treats such as crêpes, waffles on a stick, potato pancakes, apricot dumplings and roasted almonds.

For the little ones, there is a children's carousel at Gänsemarkt. Numerous business people set up bar tables or tables with chairs or benches as small islands for visitors to linger in front of their stores. Parking in all public parking lots and in the Parkhaus Ost parking lot is free of charge on Sunday.
