Kultur 5.0: Zucchini Sistaz

To mark the town's 75th anniversary in Espelkamp, Kultur 5.0 presents top-class entertainment. With fishnet stockings and false eyelashes, the three cheeky ladies catapult us into the golden swing era. Their musical repertoire is drawn from the popular music of the 1920s and 1950s, and they are all too happy to flirt with quotes and attitudes from the entire history of popular music. The Zucchini Sistaz are not opening a musical museum, but serving up juicy swing. They sing big band classics in three voices in breakneck minimalist interpretations. The Zucchini Sistaz accompany their almost acrobatic performances on double bass, guitar, trombone and flugelhorn.
