Hiddenhauser Apple Day at the Otte Fruit Farm

When the apple harvest reaches its peak, we celebrate our favorite fruit with a festival as diverse as our apple varieties.

Look forward to two action-packed days full of delicious treats, regional specialties, family activities, and the authentic atmosphere of an orchard in the heart of East Westphalia-Lippe.

This weekend, our family-run fruit farm in Hiddenhausen transforms into a large adventure area for the whole family. Discover the farm market with regional vendors, exciting insights into modern fruit farming, various apple varieties, and the special atmosphere among the orchards, farm store, and processing facility. Admission is free on both days—including the apple party.

Look forward to a varied program featuring farm tours, hands-on activities, a craft market, culinary highlights, and plenty of fun for all ages. Fun and games await in Apple Kids’ Land; on the Äppel Stage, music and regional artists provide top-notch entertainment; and in the fruit farm kitchen, you can enjoy fresh apple pie, apple juice from the farm press, and other regional delicacies.

New in 2026: The Big Apple Party

On Saturday evening from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Apple Day goes into overtime. Celebrate an unforgettable evening at the fruit farm with a DJ, delicious drinks, regional specialties, and a fantastic atmosphere.

New in 2026: The Obsthof Olympics

For the first time ever, the Obsthof Otte Orchard Olympics will take place—in cooperation with TG Herford e.V. Families, groups of friends, clubs, and companies will compete against each other in an extraordinary team challenge in the style of the Highland Games.
