Gourmet city tour

A stroll through the town combined with culinary delights in some of the most beautiful and in some cases oldest restaurants in Rietberg's old town - that's the epicurean tour of the town. The first meeting point is always the Heimathaus, the building where Rietberg's history becomes tangible. In the farmhouse dating back to 1645, visitors learn about rural living and lifestyle in earlier times.

After a small aperitif, the tour continues on foot through the old town. The city guides garnish the route past sights and historical places with interesting facts and anecdotes about Rietberg's history. During the tour, participants are served a high-quality three-course meal in three different restaurants. These include the Restaurant 1643, the Hotel Vogt and the Lind-Hotel. Who serves which course is just as much a surprise as the menu itself.
