The Bertermann bakery is a traditional family business in its fourth generation with managing director Angela Haß. With son Alexander Haß as junior manager, the fifth generation is already represented in the company. His sister Charlotte Haß has been with the company as junior manager since May 2023.

Our Bertermann bakery has been based in the Mühlenkreis district of Minden-Lübbecke since 1894. We supply our 44 Bertermann branches in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony with fresh baked goods every day - when we are not baking ourselves.

As a dynamic family business, we have a simple recipe for success: we have the best regional flour milled from the sun-ripened grain of the Mühlenkreis. We process this gift of nature with water, salt and yeast to create a dough that we give an above-average maturing time. Our Bertermann bakers use their skills and floury heart and soul to create these high-quality products by master craftsmen.
