Windmill Großenheerse

This Dutch windmill with adjoining mill inn and guesthouse was built around 1860. It has an octagonal, brick, fully plastered tower with lenticular corner reinforcements and a mounded earth wall. The inwinding  is still done with old-fashioned "Steert"
The inn  "Zur Mühlenwirtin" offers meals and overnight accommodation.
