The meaning of the "Bärenquelle"

The rest area bears the name "Bärenquelle", which comes from Low German. "Bär" or "Beer" means "beer" and "Welle" stands for cold water. This name refers to the special connection to nature and the tradition of the region.

Comfort for cyclists and hikers

Cyclists and hikers will find several benches, tables and a forest sofa at the Bärenquelle, which invites you to take a relaxing break. In case of rain, a shelter offers protection and makes the rest area attractive even in changeable weather.

Sustainability with solar power charging station

The e-bike charging station, which is powered by solar power generated on site, is particularly noteworthy. This allows visitors to charge their e-bikes and make a contribution to sustainability at the same time.

The new "Bärenquelle" rest area is therefore an ideal place for a relaxing break and a real highlight for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
