Rastplatz Liebestal

shelter/ hut
Rest area
The rest area in the Liebestal valley offers shelter and peace and quiet in a green setting - ideal for taking a break from hiking or cycling and recharging your batteries in the open air.
Embedded in the rolling landscape of the Liebestal valley, a pavilion offers protection from wind and weather and at the same time an unobstructed view of the countryside. This is where the experience of nature meets practical mobility.

Cyclists and hikers appreciate the rest area as a stopover on their tours through the cultural landscape of the Höxter district. The Liebestal is a contrast to the agricultural Warburger Börde in which it lies. The small incision offers a sense of security with its steep slopes, where fruit trees stand and bees buzz and animals graze.

The shelter hut and landscape loungers are ideal for a short breather as well as for a cozy picnic. While children explore the Maschbach and Mühlenbach streams, adults can enjoy the peace and quiet and recharge their batteries for the rest of the walk.
