The Kneipp treading pool is maintained and looked after by the Hörste local history and tourist association. In the summer months, the Kneipp pool is regularly cleaned and filled with fresh, cold water. A board on which the 10 golden rules can be read provides information on the correct use of Kneipp treatments. The art group Trio Art designed the arm pool in 2009.
