Haus Hemmelmann

historical building
One of the most impressive buildings in the town is certainly the imposing Hemmelmann House. Highly interesting pictures of animals, fables and people adorn the façade. It is not only the artistic work that is extremely remarkable. Historians also appreciate the symbolic meanings of the carvings. For example, the animal motif "rooster" stands for vigilance as well as pride and vanity.
