Grünes Klassenzimmer im Gartenschaupark Rietberg

Venue

Discover - Experience - Learn - Protect

As a follow-up project to the State Garden Show, the Green Classroom has established itself as an extracurricular place of learning in the Garden Show Park and is enjoying increasing numbers of participants.

With its diverse and near-natural habitats, the horticultural show park offers an ideal area for varied and activity-oriented lessons. Species-rich bodies of water, humming meadows and mixed forest with an exciting high ropes course invite you to discover and explore.

In addition to the classic topics of water, meadows and forests, there are also offers on archaeology, local wildlife and creative courses.

The Green Classroom offers children, young people and educators the opportunity to learn from and in direct contact with nature. The focus is on independent discovery, exploration, experimentation and creative implementation. The lessons arouse curiosity and promote the ability to perceive and enjoy interacting with nature.

The Green Classroom's offers are aimed at all age groups and school types, and parent-child courses can also be booked. Together with the park's wide range of fun and games, the Green Classroom provides the perfect setting for an educational and eventful day in the Rietberg Garden Show Park.
