Many small watercourses feed the stream, so that seepage springs can be found not only in the urban area of Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock, but also in the neighboring municipality of Hövelhof.
In addition to the visitor footbridge, which is accessible via wooden steps and offers plenty of space, there is a barrier-free visitor footbridge above the spring, which can also be easily reached by bike, baby carriage or wheelchair.
The Ems spring water is said to bring good luck!
The Ems springs in the Moosheide nature reserve are not only excellent hiking terrain, for example with the 5 km long circular Ems adventure trail. The Emsquelle is also the starting point of the well-known Ems Cycle Path, which leads through the beautiful landscape to the North Sea without any climbs.
By the way: There are 17 official selfie points in the SHS city area as well as a mobile selfie point for city events. Sights, excursion destinations such as the 400-year-old hunting lodge, the Ems Adventure World, the Ems spring or the Wapelaue provide the backdrop for personal memories: Pose, smile, frotograph and share!
