Arminiuspark Bad Lippspringe
Today, Arminius Park presents itself to visitors in a different form. Only a few trees remain of the avenue that was once lined with chestnut trees. On the contoured terrain with its expansive lawns, the old trees have since grown into impressive natural landmarks.
The “Fog Meadow” is a unique experience for every visitor. Here, no white smoke rises—as we know it from the papal election in Rome—but rather artificially generated fog. This is intended to illustrate to observers how pollen counts are reduced in humid weather.
Visitors won’t find the “No Trespassing” signs common in many parks here at Arminiuspark. On the contrary: here, visitors are expressly encouraged to walk on the expansive lawns. Naturally, the residents of Bad Lippspringe are always happy to take advantage of this generous offering. For example, during the Park Festival, which attracts several thousand visitors to Bad Lippspringe’s Arminius Park every year at Pentecost.
The park is also a wonderful destination for families with children. Various play areas—some of which are accessible to all—invite visitors to linger:
- Inclusive seesaw
- Ground-level inclusive carousel
- Mud table (wheelchair accessible)
- Inclusive swings
- 6-meter trampoline with a ramp for wheelchair users
- Two small trampolines
- Beaver seesaw
- Balance beams
- Toddler play area with slide
