Park/gardens
Park with spacious lawns, mature trees and misty meadow.
The work of Peter Josef Lenné, the famous horticultural director of the Prussian kings, can also be seen in Bad Lippspringe. The 6.2-hectare Arminius Park is said to have been laid out according to his plans and those of his students. The Paderborn horticultural director Nölting was responsible for the final binding design around 1840.

Today, Arminius Park presents itself to visitors in a different form. Only a few specimens of the avenue once planted with chestnut trees remain. On the sculpted terrain with its spacious lawns, the old trees have now grown into impressive natural monuments.

An experience for every visitor is the "fog meadow". Here, no white smoke rises, as we know it from the papal election in Rome, but artificially generated fog. This is intended to show the observer how the pollen count is reduced in damp weather.

Visitors to Arminius Park will not find the "No trespassing" signs that are put up in many parks. On the contrary: walking on the wide lawns is expressly encouraged here. Of course, the people of Bad Lippspringen are always happy to make use of this generous offer. For example, at the park festival, which attracts several thousand visitors to Bad Lippspringe's Arminius Park every year at Whitsun.
The park is also a great destination for families with children. Various play equipment invites you to linger.
