The route first winds its way through the outskirts of Rheda-Wiedenbrück before entering the East Westphalian countryside. Over hill and dale, there is time to enjoy nature!

From the indoor swimming pool, head towards Ostring and then turn right into Horstwiesenweg.

After leaving the built-up area, you enter the rural surroundings of Wiedenbrück.

The route leads through fields and forests, through agricultural areas and roads with little traffic.

At the end, the trail leads through built-up areas again, so that after a varied tour you reach the parking lot at the indoor swimming pool again.

Directions

Starting point indoor swimming pool - turn right into "Horstwiesenweg" - follow "Horstwiesenweg" until it turns right into the street "Am Jägerheim" - go under the B61 and shortly afterwards turn onto the small cycle path - through the underpass - and then keep left and turn into "Winkelstraße" and continue on it stay on it until you reach the edge of the grove - at the edge of the grove, turn left onto "Patersweg" - stay on "Patersweg" and cross the grove again - cross "Neuenkirchener Landstraße" and continue along "Patersweg" - turn left onto "Varenseller Straße" and follow this road until it joins "Varenseller Straße". follow this road until it joins "Neuenkirchener Landstraße" - continue along "Neuenkirchener Landstraße" until you reach "Krumholzstraße" and then follow this road until it joins "Am Nonenplatz" - turn right at the next junction into "Kernekampstraße" and then follow the next street Marsenstraße" - continue along "Marsenstraße" via "Varenseller Straße" until you turn right into "Wasserkampstraße" - from there turn right again into "Hammersenstraße" and then right again onto "Hellingrottstraße" - again through an underpass onto "Dechant-Hense-Straße" - then turn right into "Winkelstraße" - follow this until the first underpass to get back onto the cycle path - "Am Jägerheim" and then back onto "Horstwiesenweg" - end point Hallenbad

Getting there

A2, 23-Rheda-Wiedenbrück take the B64 towards Lippstadt, after three kilometers take the B64 exit towards Paderborn/Rietberg/Rheda-Wiedenbrück-Lintel. At the traffic circle, take the first exit Rietberger Str./K9 towards Wiedenbrück. Then turn right at Ostring/K9. The destination is on the right.
