Start at the hiking board in the center of the village. First head south along Lange Straße, then turn right into Knick Straße. The trail leads past the Wewelsburg memorial site and once around the castle. Cross the Alme in the valley and continue along the path before crossing the K37. The route then passes the airport and crosses the L751. The path follows a wide curve back into the Alme valley, past the spring alluvial fan. Via Holsteiner Straße, you return to the village, past the village hall and school, to the starting point.

Von der A33 kommend die Abfahrt 30 "Etteln" nutzen und der L818 nach Westen in Richtung Böddeken folgen. Ab Böddeken auf die L751 biegen und der Straße bis nach Wewelsburg folgen.
Parkmöglichkeit an der Wandertafel in der Ortsmitte (Ecke Böddeker Straße / Lange Straße).
