The hiking trail is particularly suitable for warm, sunny days. Most of it leads through a beautiful, shady beech forest with wonderful views over the Bega Valley, past a sika game reserve.

The predominantly well-surfaced sections of the trail can be easily walked in hiking boots, normal low shoes, sports shoes or hiking sandals. The moderate ascents and descents on this tour are also easily manageable for less experienced hikers.
